Leadership Rooted in Faith, Family, and Service
My leadership is grounded in Faith, Family, and Community. I believe true leadership begins with humility and accountability.
I am running for County Commissioner because I have deep concerns about the pace of growth in our county and the long-term financial path we are on. Rapid expansion requires sustainable infrastructure, thoughtful planning, and disciplined budgeting. With over a billion dollars in debt and significant public resources committed to servicing that debt, we must act now to ensure we remain financially strong. While we currently enjoy relatively low property taxes, failing to correct course could place a heavier burden on our citizens in the years ahead.
I believe we must honor God first and be faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to us. Leadership is stewardship, not ambition. As your County Commissioner, I will work to reduce debt responsibly, encourage wise spending, promote accountability through sound oversight, and pursue practical solutions that protect both our community and our taxpayers. I will lead with transparency, accountability, and common-sense judgment — listening first and working to keep Williamson County strong, safe, and thriving for generations.
Family and Community
My wife Kelly and I moved to Nolensville nine years ago with our three children — Reed, Rachel, and Ryan. This community quickly became home. Our children have grown up here attending Nolensville schools, participating in church, and being involved in sports and band.
Over the past five years, our family has also enjoyed serving our neighbors by helping deliver and install American flags, through the Nolensville Band program, throughout the community during the holiday season. It’s a small way we show pride in our country and appreciation for the community we’re blessed to live in.
Nolensville is more than where we live — it’s where we have raised our family, built lasting friendships, and where our children will always call home.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Over the past decade community service has been a cornerstone of my family’s life. Whether assembling a Habitat for Humanity home frame alongside my sons, packing food boxes at Second Harvest for families in need, or spending time with seniors at Mill Creek Assisted Living, we have learned that meaningful change happens when neighbors work together.
These experiences reflect my belief that giving back strengthens both families and communities. Serving others always gives more than it takes, teaching the next generation that compassion and teamwork build a safe, welcoming place to live. As a community leader, I will stay engaged with the needs of our community and always be ready to serve.
MY STORY
My journey began on a small family farm in a rural community much like Nolensville. My parents, both born during the Great Depression, understood hardship and sacrifice. After years working as farm laborers, they were finally able to purchase our farm through determination and careful saving. Life was simple and often lean, but it was those values of hard work, faith, and perseverance that left a lasting impression.
Our family continued to save and open a gas station and eventually a family restaurant that served our community for more than forty years. Because our farm and businesses operated 365 days a year, I learned early that success comes from commitment, responsibility, and showing up when people depend on you. No matter how busy life became, we always gathered around the table together — supporting one another and strengthening the bonds that hold families and communities together.
After college, I built a career in the corporate world, traveling across the country living in different communities along the way for more than fifteen years. Yet no matter where my work took me, I never left behind the values shaped by small-town life. My wife and I knew we wanted to raise our children in a community where faith, family, and community still mattered — a place where people look out for one another and children grow up with a strong sense of belonging. We chose Nolensville because it reflects those values. Here, we built our home and raised our family in a community rooted in connection and shared responsibility. Our children attended Nolensville schools from their earliest years, growing alongside classmates who became lifelong friends.
Nolensville quickly became more than just the place we lived — it became our home. Like so many families here, our lives revolved around school events, ball fields, church halls, and neighbors who became lifelong friends. As parents, we spent countless evenings cheering from the sidelines at little league and soccer games, attending band performances and choir concerts, volunteering at youth group gatherings and Vacation Bible School, and worshiping together each Sunday alongside families who share our values.
Those moments shaped our children and strengthened our connection to this community. We watched as the community continued to grow while still holding onto the small-town spirit that makes it special — people helping neighbors, families supporting one another, and local businesses serving as gathering places for conversation and connection.
This community has given our family more than we could ever repay. Now, as our youngest prepares to enter his senior year at Nolensville high school, I feel a deep responsibility to give back in a greater way. Serving as County Commissioner is a natural extension of the commitment we have lived for years — listening to our neighbors, standing up for the people of our district, and protecting the values that make this community special. I am ready to lead with integrity, serve with humility, and work every day to ensure Williamson County remains a place families are proud to call home.
